My son Alex has been diagnosed with Leukemia(ALL)

As a single mother and sole provider for my children our financial status will be greatly challenged while Alexander goes through treatment. The funds will be used for any medication that will not be covered by insurance as well as anything he might need through this 2 1/2 yr journey. The funds will also help us financially because I’m not sure when I will be able to go back to work. This is something no parent is prepared to take on. As a parent you always want your children to know they can depend on you especially in a crisis. As I watch my son question why this happened to him, see him try to comprehend the treatments/procedures needed and how his life has changed in a split second, to be told he cannot attend school for 10 months and treatment will last 2 1/2 yrs,see him break down after the doctors/nurses leave the room after an update, watch him struggle just to stand at his bedside to use the commode because the pain is unbearable to walk, to see him break down in the hallway with the physical therapist as he’s learning to use a walker, for me to see the pain he’s in even after he gets pain medication, as he sees his hair shed on the bed, for him to deal with high blood pressure from mandatory medications, too see him go through an anaphylactic reaction full of hives, as his throat starts to close and has trouble breathing, to see how afraid he is before he goes under anesthesia, to watch him go through migraines that are so terrible that he is throwing up for days, to try and stay calm and talk him through when he starts to shake out of nowhere and feels like he’s going to faint, to see him deal with spasms on his hand/arm where he cannot move his fingers or bend his arm from a blood clot through all this I show him no fear from me and stay as strong as I can, even though I’m screaming, crumbling inside uncertain of what’s to come and because I am unable to do anything to ease this pain. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
