My sister’s struggle: help us find a treatment.

Hello everyone! My name is Alexis Stoddard and I am creating this fundraiser for my sister Mariah.

Mariah has been quiet about her health issues because she wants so badly to handle things on her own.

Mariah was diagnosed with non epileptic seizures brought on by brain damage nine months ago and has been suffering from these issues for about a year. These seizures are violent and have affected every aspect of her life. She is not aloud to drive, and even struggles doing what she loves most because of her health.

She is slowly healing and having less seizures than she was nine months ago. However, months of EEG testing, monthly doctor visits and treatments are starting to add up to a point where she cannot cover them on her own anymore. We are still trying to find a treatment that will get rid of the seizures completely, this is taking a lot of other exploratory treatments and the financial burden is quickly adding up.

Please help me raise enough so that Mariah has one less issue to worry about, as I want her to focus on her healing.
