In 2020, I moved to Los Angeles to start a new chapter — leaving behind my family, friends, and everything familiar. I was newly sober, battling loneliness and the difficult early days of withdrawal. What got me through that time was my twin sister, Natasha, who promised to drive from New York to LA to bring our car and the things we couldn’t ship.
Her road trip took about 9–10 days, and when she finally arrived, everything changed. She made LA feel like home again. She explored the city with me, helped me find joy and comfort in this new world, and reminded me I wasn’t alone.
Two years later, my world shattered when Natasha and our younger sister Rachel passed away. Losing them has been the hardest thing I’ve ever faced.
Now, I want to honor their memory by retracing Natasha’s cross-country route — the same one that once brought me hope. Along the way, I’ll be spreading their ashes in some of the places they loved most, including Woodstock, NY and the Grand Canyon.
This trip means everything to me — a way to say goodbye, to celebrate their lives, and to bring them peace across the places they once dreamed of.
Gas and travel expenses will be costly (around $500–$600), so I’m asking for help to make this journey possible.
If you loved Natasha or Rachel, or simply believe in honoring loved ones in meaningful ways, any donation means the world.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me carry their memory across the country — one last beautiful road trip for my sisters. ❤️
