My name is Marilu I am asking for everyone’s help to give my nephew the send off that he deserves.

On May 23, 2022, 9:36am my sister Digna and her fiancé Dylan welcomed their baby boy Damyn Miguel Novo. Unfortunately she had complications, had to have an emergency C-section because her placenta ruptured and was only attached 50% to her uterine wall. These complications caused baby Damym to only receive 50% oxygen. We are unsure how long he went with only half the oxygen he needed. When he was born he was unresponsive and had to be resuscitated due to him having a very faint heartbeat. At that moment the Doctors were sure he suffered 90% brain damage so he was transferred from Northwest Medical Center in Margate to University Hospital in Davie where he saw a pediatric cardiologist. The cardiologist gave him two different medications to try to get his heart rate back up, this treatment fail. Baby Damyn  then had a blood transfusion with high Oxygen blood which again failed to help, the last procedure that they were able to do was inserting a needle into the chest to remove the fluid that was building up around this heart. After this procedure baby Damyn heart rate went back up to 120 BPM and he regained his color and overall seemed to be doing well. It was at 4:30ish am when the nurse came into my sisters room and asked Dylan to go see the doctor in the NICU, as he walked in he saw all the doctors around baby Damyn giving him chest compressions. After 19 long hours at 4:58am May 24, 2022 baby Damyn lost his fight. This tragic loss has effected us all and at this time we ask that you help us give baby Damyn the proper send off. Anything donated will be 100% to my sister and her fiancé for all the funeral expenses and to hold them over until they are able to go back to work.
