Hello my name is London Lang. Recently my sister was shot by police during a peaceful protest in West Hollywood California; May 30th to be exact. During the Protest the police shot my sister twice close range once in her arm while her hands were up. The bullet ricocheted from her armpit to the inside of her shoulder while the second one was fired into her stomach leaving fragments in her muscle tissue. Police and Sheriffs refused to render aid as people were pleading for help after seeing how extensive the wound was. She was rushed to two major hospitals in the LA area and was turned away both times, all while in excruciating pain. Eventually she was admitted into Kaiser Permanente hospital and had to be hospitalized for 3 days. She has many doctors appointments ahead as it will take 2-3 months for the stomach wound to heal as long as infection does not occur, which is what we are praying for. We understand that times are hard, but anything helps.

Thank you so much, from the bottom of our hearts. We are not giving up in this fight for justice! In fact, out of frustration and continued resolve to make an impact, in my own community I started a daily peaceful protests.
