My wonderful younger sister Terria (above left) who works in the charity sector recently moved to Portugal to spend time with our dad. She took everything she owns with her from her life in the UK, with a view to returning sometime in the future. The wild fires in the area of Portugal where my dad has made his home for the past 12 years have absolutely decimated everything she has aquired

in her life, both practical everyday furniture and appliances and everything of sentimental value. I am asking that anyone who sees this donate anything they can- she literally has just the small case she brought for a visit to the UK. Terria is an inspiration to me- the most positive, hardworking and generous woman and anything you can give towards her replacing some of what she has lost would be enormously appreciated.
