My Sister Molly's Kidney Fund

14 years ago I received a life-saving kidney transplant, and now the time has come, and my sister Molly will be needing one as well. She suffers from the same disease (PKD) that I had, and her kidneys are now failing fast. She is currently in search of a living kidney donor, and will hope to be able to have her surgery within the next year.

She and her partner Malcolm will have to relocate to Vancouver for up to 3 months for the surgery and recovery, and although BC Medical will cover the cost of the surgery, all of the other associated expenses, such as multiple airfares for appointments, rental of an apartment in Vancouver, house-sitting at their home in Terrace BC, will add up quickly. Not to mention lost wages, as they will both be out of work during this time, with Malcolm being her primary caregiver during the recovery process.

To this end, I am reaching out via this platform to ask for financial help for her. Anything you could contribute at all would be incredible and will make a difference for all of us during this difficult time.
