My sister Leah needs a break.

Hello family and friends of Facebook. I would greatly appreciate you all to take the time and read this unfortunate series of events regarding my sister Leah.
The major things that have happened to her in the last 6 years is not something that you would expect to happen in your 20s, or even your 30's and 40's. Life can be so unfair at times, as Leah definitely knows.
She lost her partner to a very rare cancer when she was 24. They were getting married and had just bought their first house.
She has had a number of medical issues/surgery after this sad time but she keeps on going.
Leah then met the love of her life, James, a number of years later and they married in 2018. In 2019, Leah had to have major spinal surgery where she had to have 2 vertebrae replacements and now has a metal plate in her spine . She has suffered a lot of back, neck, arm pain due to the impact on the spinal nerve, and is still on high medication for this.
Leah has now been diagnosed with Lymphoma. We hope that it has been caught early, but needs to have Chemo/Radiation. Before this Treatment could proceed, she also needed to have her eggs removed and frozen to hopefully be able to have children when her Lymphoma Treatment is completed.
The cost of her medical history/treatments over the years has placed a financial burden on them. They had finally saved up money to have their house painted this year, but these funds have been invaded for her varying tests prior to her diagnosis.
The financial burden over the next few months is a worry. They both are not sure of the impact this will have on their work as Leah will need to have time off of work, and with James having to take time off work to be her Carer whilst she is going through her treatment's (especially considering COVID-19 and her immune system).
Her IVF Treatment occurred in April 2020 and her Lymphoma Treatment/Chemo also started in April.
It would mean the world to not only myself, but to Leah, James and my mum and dad. If you would be able to assist with any donations that would help take the financial burden off Leah and James' back whilst dealing with these difficult times. Even the smallest of donations would mean the world, considering these trying financial times with the impacts that COVID-19 has had.
I can't thank you enough for reading Leah's story and from all the Kelly's a massive thanks.
Matt.
