Most of you know that my sister has been diagnosed with Stage 2 colon cancer. There is some lymph node involvement but the treatment right now is the same because it has not ventured at this time. She will begin radiation and chemotherapy. Kristin has a $6500 max out of pocket deductible which she has met. The problem is she still owes right now over $4200 of that and is on a steep payment plan to KAISER.

Radiation will be everyday, five days a week. Chemotherapy will be one full day a month for hopefully only four months. I can’t thank KIA/FUTURE FORD OF CLOVIS enough they are being very accommodating for her to receive the treatment she needs. Kristin has no vacation time left because of all the appointments up to date she has had to take time off for. Gas bills will increase to/from radiation etc.

In talking with her oncologist today these appointments and follow up appointments will obviously go into next year as well and Jan 1st the $6500 starts all over again.

I’m hoping to help take the financial stress off of her to undergo all this treatment and the side effects without worrying so much about the financial toll. My sister has made it to a blessed life and now cancer strikes. It’s unfair! I’m writing this out of total humbleness if anyone can help $5 would be fine. I never thought in my life I would ever be involved in a go fund me but this is the right thing to do.
