Dear friends,

As many of you know my sister Jessie, received a devastating diagnosis of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, or ALS (also commonly known as Lou Gehrig's Disease) in 2017.

The diagnosis has had a life-changing impact on Jessie and her family. A dedicated public school teacher for 24 years, Jessie worked full-time for as long as she could to support her children. Jessie’s financial resources have dwindled, as her needs are dramatically increasing. Jessie’s disease has progressed rapidly over recent months increasing her need for financial caregiver support. Living past her prognosis means her care is not covered by any agency.
