My sister Ashley's road to recovery

On the 1st of December my sister, her husband, and their youngest son were involved in a head on collision. Luckily her husband Derek and son Declan had no injuries, however the accident resulted in breaking her femur. She has undergone surgery which placed a rod in her femur and multiple screws in her knee. For the next several months she will be unable to work as it will be quite some time until she is fully able to walk on her own. Having two children to take care of she will also need her spouse Derek to take time off of work to help. During this tough time with the holidays right around the corner I am hoping to raise money to help her with medical bills and general life expenses. My sister is a very hard worker and an outstanding mother which makes it a difficult position to be in considering the circumstances. Any help with making this long road to recovery any easier for her would be greatly appreciated. We are all remaining optimistic for her outcome but we are also aware of the very challenging road she has ahead of her.
