Hi, my name is Bridget, I am trying to raise funds to help my sister and her family.

After several weeks of dizziness my sister went to the ER on August 12th. They found a tumor in her brain. She was admitted and has undergone several tests. Monday, August 14th, the neurosurgeons are meeting to discuss their next steps, with the ending result being the tumor gets removed.

Melissa and her husband, Stuart, are parents to 5 children. The doctors say this may be a prolonged recovery, so Melissa will be unable to work for some time.

I am raising funds to help with her medical bills, household bills, and children's needs. Stuart will still be working as much as possible but they are a 2 income household and this will be difficult on them. I am hoping to ease the financial stress as she is healing and we see what her next steps will be.
