My sister and brother-in-law Bernie and Doug

Hi, my name is Samantha and I am Bernie’s favorite sister. I am fundraising to help my sister and brother-in-law Doug get back on their feet after a completely ridiculous accident. A few days ago the two of them decided to have their annual wood cutting party so they would have heat this winter. Unfortunately, part of the tree feel on my brother-in-law, bounced off him and pinned my sister down. After both being taken to the hospital we learned this is going to be slow recovery for them both. The mere force of the tree tore two tendons in Doug’s knee and it shattered his knee cap. He will have surgery on his knee on Friday. He will be in a brace for 4-6 months and after that physical therapy. He will not be able to work his reffing job this year. Bernadine broke her humerus in a few places. She does not need surgery but she is in an immobilizer for 4-6 weeks and after that physical therapy. Which means she will not be able to do her cleaning jobs.

Now that you all know the story…for those of you reading this and have the pleaser of knowing my sister Bernadine I don’t have to tell you she is the kindest person in the world. She would do anything for anyone at anytime. I know she will not like me for this post but she knows that her baby sister does not care. I want to make sure we take care of her like she always takes care of all of us. So please give what you can and if you can't give that’s ok too just pray for me that she does not kill me for making a go fund me page!
