A lot of people have been calling me and messaging me, or coming across me in person asking how my sister is doing after being attacked. Anyone who has met my sister Amber has come to know and love her. She is the sweetest person and spreads sunshine to everyone she meets. She is well known to make people laugh. As a bartender and resident to our Clairemont community, everyone knows she has the biggest heart. Unfortunately on 3/3/23 she was stalked and assaulted by two assailants. She had no fighting chance she was completely blindsided. She was knocked unconscious, and her assailants were still trying to go after her while she was down and incapacitated. She was taken by ambulance to the hospital, had to have staples in her head and the doctor told her one more hit to the head and she would have died. She also has two black eyes as well as cuts and bruises to her arms and elbows. She has been back to the hospital three times due to her injuries. Initially she was thinking she would be out of work for two weeks, but unfortunately ended up back in the hospital suffering a hematoma . The doctor had to completely reopen her wound, drain the blood clot and put stitches in this time. The doctor told her this is going to be a setback for her as she will have to start the healing process all over again. She has been diagnosed with a major concussion and was put in a neck brace. Due to her concussion, she is suffering really bad vertigo and dizziness where she is unable to do things for herself and she cannot drive. She cannot work. She was put in a neck brace and has limited mobility of her neck. She is suffering ongoing headaches and emotional trauma. She has trouble speaking sometimes, often stuttering and has trouble finding her words when trying to speak. Due to these injuries, she will be missing more work than expected, and as her big brother, I am reaching out to see if we can help her to be able to pay her rent and her bills, while she is suffering the trauma from this whole incident. Any donation is appreciated. I just want to see her get well physically and emotionally. She loves her job, her regulars are family to her. The love and support from all of you reaching out means so much to her. To the point where it brings her to tears, knowing how many of you care about her. Most of you know she has a 15-year-old son she is also supporting and he is also going through distress watching her go through all of this. It’s hard for me to see her worry about her financial situation having to miss work when she is going through so much already. Any donation to help her through this tough time would be so much appreciated ❤️
