Hi, my name is Heidy; if you do not know me, I appreciate you reading this. I'm trying to fundraise for my sister Reina. Reina is a 51 years old woman who has fought all her life to give to others while never asking anything for herself.

 

In 6 months, she has had a broken leg, Kidney cancer, surgery, a nervous system shut down, and the loss of her oldest son. I wish I could easily provide all the resources she needs to be comfortable and healthier, but I can't; hence, this is why I created this page.

 

Luckily the cancer is not back, and she is under constant monitoring. However, her nervous system has prevented her from walking, eating on her own, and even using the restroom by herself. The steroids that she gets are making her body swell up. She is able to get a new treatment that may help her body retain fewer liquids and possibly return to 70% of function of her body.

 

 

This new treatment requires a nurse that she cannot afford. She is already struggling with financial hardships since she adopted her 4 grandkids a few years back. Covering rent, food and all essentials are part of what she also has to worry about.

 

If you can help, I will forever be grateful that you helped my sister have an opportunity to live her life the way she deserves.
