Tori passed away on August 11, 2022.
Hi. My name is Debbie. In early May of this year, my sister was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer. It was end stage and she is now on Hospice care. This sudden turn of events has left us unprepared for any expenses; most importantly her funeral and memorial service. She wishes to be cremated and her ashes spread at a special event held at an annual Viking style SCA type event. I will have to put her immediate expenses on my credit card. I myself am retired and supplement my Social Security by working as a substitute teacher (middle school). I also have stage 4 breast cancer and often cannot work. She and her fiance Greg are on disability and cover their bills, but were unprepared for this. As a former 20+ year probate paralegal, I am well qualified to administer whatever funds are raised. I will need reimbursement of the initial expenses which will include travel from Florida to Georgia and hotel stay. The remaining funds will cover any expenses to carry her ashes to the event. Her debts are nominal outside of medical bills and her doctors have been working with her on that. Any leftover funds will be donated to the local Hospice group in her town in Georgia. Any assistance anyone can provide will be appreciated. We normally take care of ourselves, but this is beyond us. God bless you. If you do nothing else, put us on a prayer list. Thank you.
