My name is Peter Garrett. I'm a Swedish American, I'm 21 years old and I live as a music student in Sweden. I moved here along with my parents and my two other brothers 3 years ago because my beloved father, Forrest Garrett, lived with pancreatitis for 8 years before he had an operation to remove his pancreas, his gall bladder, and his spleen; because of this operation, he takes 16 different medications everyday which while we lived in the U.S. was very expensive. Now that we live in Sweden the medications are free but we are currently in the middle of a crisis. My parents moved into a new apartment closer to the hospitals where my father will undergo a new life saving pancreas transplant surgery after months of planning and saving money in January, and now they are being asked to move out on May 1st, leaving them with no time or money to even make such a move, let alone find a new apartment. My mother is overburdened with stress and my father is in constant pain and panicked because they soon might be homeless. I feel absolutely helpless and if in some small way this page helps them out, it's the least I can do. Please help me help my parents. We're desperate and don't know what else to do.
Do what little you can to help, and we'll be beyond grateful.
Thank you for your time.
