Medical & Vet Bills Are Overwhelming

Hello this is Jeanie Lochner and on July 27th this year, I had a total hip replacement surgery that was successful. Two weeks later, while with my Physical Therapist, I fell and fractured the same hip. I had a second surgery on the same hip and am now at a rehab facility and found out yesterday that I have to be here for at least another month. So the earliest I will be back home will be sometime in October. I won't be able to go back to work for quite a while and my savings has been quickly eaten up. My two daughters and one son have all been helping out financially since this happened also.

I have two wonderful Shih Tzu, Jackson (age 15 1/2) and LuLu (age 14) and so far their caretaker has cost over $1K dollars. My dog's caretaker is very concerned because Jackson hasn't eaten for the last 3 days and is seeming to have some trouble getting around; he also mostly sleeps. He needs to see a Vet and I am not able to pay for it. Whatever is left over, will go to pay other bills that are mounting. This is breaking my heart and I feel like my world is crumbling around me and I feel so helpless from my hospital bed. I have had Jackson since he was a puppy and he's my first dog and I love him so very much!!!    Update:   Jackson had to be put down while I was in post surgery rehab; one of the hardest things that I've ever experienced.   Also, my other Shih Tzu, LuLu, suffered a mild stroke while I was in rehab, but is doing well.

I have helped others with their GoFundMe page when I've been able and it always made me feel so good. It's embarrassing to have to ask for help myself now, but I'm truly running out of options. Even if you can spare $5 I'm asking for anything and it will be put to good use! I want to make certain that I have a home with my Shih Tzu, LuLu, in it when I'm allowed to return.
