My 12 year old senior dog’s health has been deteriorating over the last 3 months.
I write this with a heavy heart. I am raising money to take my dog Ti to the vet for consultation, and discuss whether I should put him down.
Months ago, the vet and I suspected he may have a UTI as we noticed blood in his urine, but the prescription the vet gave me did not resolve Ti’s issue. At that time he was walking and still active. Since finishing the UTI prescription, his health has rapidly declined.
He can no longer stand or walk unassisted, and appears to have lost almost all mobility in his legs in general. He no longer wishes to eat his normal foods and is struggling to get the nutrition he needs, so he’s lost a ton of weight.
X-rays and ultrasounds cost $500 each, not including the vet visit itself. Being that he cannot walk, and I cannot afford long term treatment due to my situation, and his age, I think putting him down may be the most humane thing I can do for him. I just don’t want my baby to suffer anymore.
The amount im asking for will cover pain meds to make him comfortable, and also the vet consultation itself. Please help me.
