My Schoolie Tiny home burned down

My schoolie burned down yesterday. This is was one of my biggest fears. I still can’t believe that I am living through it. It happened when I was charging the battery on a really hot day. It’s was an all engulfing devastating fire that burned down everything. The last few months have been intense since I lost my job in May and while looking for a new job in the day I have been knee deep in putting my van together in the evenings. I had many of my prized possessions which were not just expensive but I also had multiple memories attached to them for example my tools, kayak, surf boards and bicycles.  I have still not come to terms with the fact that my hard work for 2 whole years had turned into ashes. This van was my baby I planned my life and relationships around it. l built it from scratch and was ready to move in full time next week and depart on my adventure. Sadly my journey with Miles is over however the outpouring of support from this community has helped inspire me to pick up the pieces and go after my goal of true freedom.
