My Rural placement
I am off to a rural placement for 8 weeks in the South East for my final placement of my Honours degree in Primary Education!
I am working at an amazing school teaching Receptions/Year 1s, which I cannot wait for.
Unfortunately, as this is a placement I won't be receiving any financial support for my time but I am gaining a huge amount of skills and experience. My normal job working at an Autism Spectrum school has to be put on hold as it would be impossible to work there and teach rurally.
Most teachers purchase resources and items for their classroom out of their own pocket, this is because we know how beneficial these are for students learning. There are many resources I would love to buy to support student learning and help me through my placement. These resources are not only useful now but would have continuous use throughout my teaching career.
I would really appreciate any support to allow me to complete my final placement without worrying and make the most of this amazing opportunity !
Thank you! Emma
