Hi my name is Danielle and I lived with my best friend for a year. During this time she adopted fluffy. Fluffy is a senior cat and we saved up (with the help of family and friends) to get her spayed. My roommate kept her half for emergency reasons. Fluffy had a fall and opened her stiches, so, I was taking her to vets today at 3pm. Unfortunately that morning my roommate informed me she had spent the money on a new man from a tinder she met. After trying to reason with her, my friends took over and she assured me that fluffy would be taken care of by her mum and taken to the vets until I could afford to pay her back. Well, the vets called and said she never showed up. I was heartbroken and called her trying to see what the problem is, after some abuse we hung up as I was told she would be moving out. PDSA can’t take her because it was an operation by another vet. Crisis grants don’t cover animals and unfortunately I won’t have any money till the last day of the month. I am so unbelievably devastated that I might have to say goodbye to my cat and I wouldn’t have spent all my savings on the operation, should I know this would’ve been a problem. Fluffy needs a quick check up to get her wound stiched, if not she’ll die from infection. A pound would go an amazing way!
