My Recording Studio Flooded

Hi. I’m Bruce Murphy. I played keyboards and guitar for Men Without Hats, among others. I’ve been collecting instruments and recording for almost 50 years. I live in Chicago with my wife and adopted daughter. Last night we had a flood. We were at 2 feet in less than 10 minutes. My daughter and I waded through the studio grabbing what we could, but we had to prioritize. I lost my Hammond B3 and Leslie, my Clavinet, some old synths and guitars, including my late father and grandfather’s guitars. I lost my vintage amp I had since I was a teen.
We were just getting back on our feet after some serious medical problems, and we got walloped by the Covid lockdown for 3 months, no work, and now this. We’re not going to get back to where we were, but my daughter was getting into music and she loved the studio. We’re both devastated. Thanks for all your help.
