My Reconstructive Journey

Helllo everyone! Most of you who know me, know a bit of my story but for those of you who don't, here's a little auto biography. I was born with a birth defect; cleft palate and lip. I had a couple of the surgeries needed but not all the ones I should've. I don't have the roof of my mouth, the full right side of my upper jaw and a very deviated nose. I have breathing problems when I sleep due to this. My husband constantly wakes me up because I just stop breathing randomly. I will be doing a sleep study to also take care of this. Eating, drinking and breathing is an every day struggle for me. I finally have the chance to fix the one thing I've been so insecure about my entire life. But with facial reconstruction, comes with a price. Insurance covers some of my procedures but not all of it. For instance, with my birth defect, I have about half the teeth a normal person would have so I'm also getting the top row pulled out. Majority of them are baby teeth with no adult teeth to take its place so I need implants. Insurance will not cover that. Just to be seen by a professional will cost me $300 alone to talk to someone! I know I'm asking a lot but any and all help would be greatly appreciate. A share goes a long way.
