My puppy Jai Jai's Survival Account

Hi everyone. I have wanted a puppy all my adult life as I was never allowed to have one as a child but I felt my life work schedule would not be fair for raising a dog properly until now. My schedule has finally now calmed down and last Friday afternoon, after much thought and research, I adopted my puppy Jai Jai (which means victory in Hindu). Everything was going great until Sunday afternoon when he started sleeping a lot and not wanting to eat or drink, accompanied by throwing up and having diarrhea.
I took him to the vet first thing Monday and it was discovered he had round worms. So I went home with medicine to give him for that and he had one good rebound meal and then things went downhill fast. For the next day and a half I could not get him to eat or drink much of anything including the food that I was supposed to give him the worm medicine in. All the poor little guy wanted to do was sleep and snuggle which I gladly did with him.
So back to the vet first appt available on Wed. and it was discovered he has the dreaded Parvo virus, a sometimes deadly virus and he's been in the Chimacum Hospital by day today, and the Poulsbo Animal Hospital trauma unit last night. He will need to go back to the trauma unit tonight again and likely will need this routine for several days until his little tummy can eat again.
It's touch and go whether this little guy will make it or not. I am trying to keep his care going for as long as I can afford. I applied and took out extra credit but they only have okayed me up to $2500 total. His care last night and today already exceeds $1400.
This guy deserves a chance to live and I'm doing the best I can but I'm afraid I don't have the financial resources to give him all he needs.
I bought him from what I thought was a responsible owner and her husband. I had looked at other ways to adopt including through rescue agencies on line and turned down another cute puppy when I did not trust the situation that particular puppy had been raised in but Jai's owners felt trustable to me.
I don't think they knew of Jai Jai's virus when they sold him to me for $450 last Friday. Rescue puppies on Petfinder also go for similar amounts or more so when I met Jai Jai and saw he had had his first shots etc. I knew he was the one for me.
Sadly though I can't get the owners to respond now that I know he has parvo because his siblings which were all adopted as well no doubt have it also and I think those new owners should be warned to get their puppies into the vet right away as well.
Anyway I'm at a loss as to how to give this little guy the chance to live as he deserves. IF you choose to donate he and I will be eternally grateful and please know that the donation money will strictly go to his care costs and the funds are needed asap.
And of course no worries if you don't feel you can or want to donate. Please just say some prayers for my little Jai Jai to survive somehow.

Namaste and much love, and of course a huge amount of thanks from Jai Jai and Maryann!
