Hello everyone! My name is Christian. Recently, my dog shiro was diagnosed with Immune-Mediated Thrombocytopenia or ITP. In dogs ITP causes the immune system to attack the platelets in the blood. Platelets are responsible for blood clotting, and without them, Shiro is at risk of fatal bleeds. Shiro has begun treatment but he will have to have blood tests done regularly to ensure that his treatment is working and his body is producing enough platelets. These blood tests are very expensive (each blood panel can cost over $300) and must be done on a weekly basis until he has made a full recovery, which could take months.

Because of this, we are aiming to raise $5,000 to cover the next few months of his tests and treatments.

Shiro means the world to.me and my family and we just want to see him get better and thrive. He still has so much more life to live and love to share. Any donation is deeply appreciated and goes a long way towards saving my pup's life.

All funds raised will be used to cover the costs of Shiro's treatments and regular blood testing that will be required as he undergoes treatment.
