Chasing a Dream!

Hey, my name is Brian Keith McPherson II.  I am currently a high-school student-athlete in my senior year at Charles R. Drew Charter School Senior Academy in Atlanta, Georgia.  This past year I earned 9 total credit hours while in the duel-enrollment program for high school students at Georgia State Universty, and I'm currently interning.  I also spend two to three hours everday in the gym working on my craft–basketball.  I'm staying ready for the opportunities that God has for me while treating the game I love with care.  This coming fall I will be attending The Skill Factory Prep School–a post-graduate academy also known as TSF Post Grad, or TSF,  geared towards developing dedicated, high-school graduates (high-school basketball players) and providing a platform for them to showcase their talents and abilites–also in Atlanta, Georgia [based in the Buckhead neighborhood].  Tuition for the 2017-2018 school year at TSF Prep is $15,500, and I am raising money to fund this educational and athletic opportunity.  Thankfully, I won't be needing things like room and board like many of my teammates whom will be coming from all-over the world, as their tution will be quite a bit more.  While at TSF Prep, I'll be preparing for the next level as I develop my basketball skills and work on my body and athleticism in hopes of being awarded both academic and athletic scholarships following my season at TSF Prep.  This opportuninty along with your gifts will help me to continue in doing what I love and what I am passionate about doing, on another level!  As early as this June, I'll be training under professional basketball trainers and coaches, as well as working side-by-side with NBA players for six to eight hours each day, both on the basketball court and in the weight room, while bein further molded into a leader.  We'll have individual workouts, team practices, and private runs—scrimmages where I'll get to share the court with NBA players and professionals that play basketball around the world, as well as college guys; all summer long I'll be in the gym preparing for the coming basketball season.  Beginning in the fall, I'll be traveling around the country with my team as we compete against the top prep schools and junior colleges for the post-grad/prep national championship (TSF Prep won the 2017 National Championship).  I'll also continue interning and studying for the ACT as I continue to make strides as a student–athlete.  I thank you for even taking the time to read my story!  If you know me, then you know I love the game of basketball, and I'm most happy when I'm on a basketball court.  And even if you don't know me very well, know that I constantly work to improve so that others may dream through me and see what is possible through love and dedication.  Thank you for your considerations, gifts, and generous donations.  God bless!
