my potential travel expenses

Hello, I'm Jon, failed Youtuber and occasional Twitch streamer looking to visit my family for the first time in... well, over a decade. While my shcedule and finances don't often sync up with being able to travel across the entire country on anything near a regular basis, an opportunity did present itself when my wife is set to attend a convention in Arizona, where nearly all of my immediate family currently reside. This trip came up during one of the rougher patches for both of us financially, and while we still are making the trip, with a frankly anxiety-inducing 2-ish day drive, situations involving Covid and others have made this a really tight squeeze for both of us. Any help with these expenses, especially any unintended expenses, would ease a lot of that burden.

I am well aware the world has far more pressing issues, and if there's something you feel is better worth your time and money, I completely understand and encourage that choice, but I figured I'd give it a shot and hopefully we can at least deal with the varying gas prices across this country.
