Hi there! My cast and crew have been working hard to bring my self-published poetry book, "My Pocketbook of I Love You's " to life through a short film.
My name is Madeline Rose Fiore and I am a writer and artist who has self-published two heartfelt poetry books. Shortly after writing my first poetry book, “Where Did Your Mind Go?” I worked to bring it to life through a multi-media production that was successfully hosted within the City of Vaughan. Back in 2019, I released my second self-published poetry book, "My Pocketbook of I Love You's" which I launched in partnership with the City of Vaughan’s Culture Days event and had an amazing turnout. Fast forward, I am excited to finally be able to bring this book to life through a short film.
The film works to illustrate the emotional rollercoaster between two young women and what they have endured while going through the motions of “love”, starting from the honeymoon phase to the depths of heartbreak. This film is an homage to the French New Wave. The French New Wave introduced many experimental techniques that can be boiled down to one sentence: Mesmerize the audience with existential themes relating to human nature and love.
My team and I are incredibly proud of the way that the film is coming along, but we still have a few more filming dates to get through and would appreciate any help to cover the costs of filming equipment, transportation, PPE, costumes, props, food, filming locations, talent, marketing, submissions, etc.
Any donation helps and we can't wait for you to see the finished project!
