My Personal Journey to Cancer Recovery -- Part 2

Hi, my name is Tamara Carthen,

I'm a fun-loving, charming woman who's full of life! I'm a wife, married 35 yrs to my soul mate Mr. Marc Anthony Sr. I'm also a mother and have two grandchildren. I'm also a seven-year colon-rectal cancer survivor.

Fast forward to June 2022. I started having aches in my left rib. So, I went to the ER in Denton, Texas, for the pain. When the doctor performed x-rays, there was a clear result; however, as the months went on, the pain was still present but wasn't constant.

After speaking with my PCP this summer, I had another chest x-ray, which was still evident.

Now we're in November. Since my x-ray this past summer, I have been laid off from work. My previous employer claimed to have paid my health insurance up until October 1st; however, with COBRA's insurance premiums being so costly, I can't afford to pay the premiums.

Now, I'm asking for help to pay for my medical insurance of $2000, which would cover October 2022-December 2022.
