[EN] A wonderful day to be self-employed... On June 30th, my PayPal account was permanently banned – with the reason being that I allegedly offer sexual services or pornographic content. Spoiler: I don’t.

You all know my content – soft ero, no porn Dx – all legal, aesthetic , and fully PayPal-compliant. That was even confirmed TO ME ON THE PHONE BY PAYPAL SUPPORT. They promised to lift the restriction within 72 hours. Instead, I got the email saying it was permanently banned. Adorable.

Since then, my funds are frozen, and I can't receive new payments. PayPal was my main payment method – without it, I currently can’t earn anything, and future income is also blocked.

I’ve since hired an IT-lawyer who specializes in exactly these types of PayPal cases. Cost: around €850.

I’ll be real with you – if the ban isn’t lifted, I’ll have to stop doing cosplay and art for now, because I’ll need to find a regular job.

Keep in mind, cosplay & art is my job, and the ban was probably the result of months of reports from haters :D

[GER] Ein wundervoller Tag um selbstständig zu sein.. Am 30.06. wurde mein PayPal-Konto dauerhaft gesperrt – mit der Begründung, ich würde sexuelle Dienstleistungen oder pornografische Inhalte anbieten. Spoiler: Tu ich nicht.

Ihr alle kennt meinen content, soft ero, nix porn Dx – alles legal, künstlerisch und PayPal-konform. Das wurde mir sogar VOM PAYPAL SUPPORT am Telefon bestätigt. Man versprach mir die Entsperrung innerhalb von 72 Stunden. Stattdessen kam die Mail zur endgültigen Sperrung. Herzallerliebst.

Seitdem ist mein Geld eingefroren, neue Zahlungen gehen nicht. PayPal war mein Hauptzahlungskanal – ohne das kann ich aktuell nichts verdienen und auch in Zukunft nicht.

Ich habe inzwischen eine IT-Rechtsanwältin eingeschaltet, die sich mit genau solchen PayPal-Fällen auskennt. Die Kosten dafür: rund 850 €.

Ich sags wie es ist, sollte mein PayPal gesperrt bleiben, muss ich vorerst mit Cosplay und Kunst aufhören, weil ich fix einen neuen Job suchen muss.

Bedenkt, das Cosplay & Kunst mein Job ist und die Sperrung vermutlich durch monatelanges melden von Hatern kam :D

Update 4th August

After I threatened PayPal with the CSSF and a lawyer, they responded and assured me that they would review the case.

- First deadline from PayPal: July 19

- Too long for me, I set a deadline for July 11

- PayPal’s response: too much demand at the moment, they need to extend the deadline to August 8

- Lawyer says no, sets deadline to July 27, as this is existentially threatening for me

- PayPal does not respond by July 27, lawyer sends a reminder letter with a strict tone

- PayPal responds today( 4th August) , saying due to high demand they have to postpone the deadline to August 24

Since PayPal is working so slow and my lawyer needs to write more paperwork than planned, the price for the service increased drastically to now around 1.200 :')

Nachdem ich Paypal mit der CSSF gedroht habe und Anwalt, haben sie reagiert und zugesichert, dass sie den Fall überprüfen.

- erste Frist von Paypal : 19.07.

- war mir zu lang, Frist zum 11.07. gesetzt

- Paypal Antwort : zu hoher Andrang momentan, müssen Frist auf den 08.08. Verlängern

-Anwältin sagt nein, 27.07. Setzt Frist bist zum 27.07., da es existenzbedrohend ist für mich

- Paypal reagiert nicht bis zum 27.07., Anwältin schreibt Erinnerungsschreiben mit Strengen Ton

- PayPal antwortet heute, dass sie wegen zu hohen Andrang die Frist auf dem 24.08. Verlegen müssen

Dadurch das Paypal so lange braucht, muss meine Anwältin mehr Schreiben anfertigen ale geplant, somit steigen die Kosten nun auf ca. 1200€

Update 30th August

[EN] PayPal once again failed to meet the deadline of August 24. This time they didn’t even send an extension, they simply didn’t respond.

My lawyer is now trying to request the CSSF to take action despite the lack of a statement from PayPal. It is slowly starting to seem like PayPal is deliberately dragging this out in order to wear us down.

I also personally wrote an email to the “Head of Complaints” with a deadline of September 5 – in addition, I have contacted the press to make this scandal public.

Due to the new legal steps, the costs have now risen to €1,600.

[GER] Paypal hat die Frist vom 24.08. Malwieder nicht eingehalten, dieses mal haben sie nicht mal eine Fristverlängerung gesendet, sie haben sich einfach nicht gemeldet.

Meine Anwältin versucht nun, die CSSF zu bitten, trotz fehlender Stellungnahme von Paypal tätig zu werden. Solangsam entsteht der Verdacht, dass Paypal das absichtlich rauszögert um uns zu ermüden.

Ich habe auch persönlich nochmal an den "head of complaints" eine mail geschrieben mit einer Frist zum 05.09. - zusätzlich habe ich Kontakt zur Presse aufgenommen um diesen Skandal öffentlich zu machen.

Aufgrund der neuen anwaltlichen Schritte erhöhen sich die Kosten auf 1.600€
