For the past twelve months, my life has been shaped by the profound impact of constraint trauma and the psychological weight that follows a period of intense restriction. The goal of fifty thousand dollars is a carefully calculated investment in a one year period of intensive reconstruction which includes a 9 week stay in a mental health facility in the Netherlands. Healing from this specific type of trauma requires a multi dimensional approach that goes beyond standard care. This fund will provide the necessary resources to secure specialized residential treatment, consistent trauma informed therapy, and the essential stability required to focus entirely on the hard work of psychological repair for the duration of 2026. When a person is recovering from profound harm, the stressors of basic survival can often stall progress. This goal ensures that for the next twelve months, the focus remains solely on reclaiming my health.
