Hi, Amanda here. Many of you may not know yet, but my Dad has been diagnosed with colon cancer. It has been a hard pill to swallow for all of us. You never expect these things to happen to the ones you love so much. We just received the news that he will be going through surgery sometime in July with chemotherapy to follow. If you are able to help in any way it would be greatly appreciated. Dad will be unable to work for quite some time and Mom will be taking a lot of time off to get him to and from doctors appointments and treatments. This is going to make it difficult for them to make ends meet. Both of them completely dislike asking for money, that is why I took it upon myself to start this fundraiser as I know they will just attempt to struggle through and they do not need the added stress.
