Hi everyone! My name is Christina Hubbert-Saenz and my parents lost their home to the Camp Fire that wreaked havoc on the humble and sweet communities of Paradise, Magalia and surrounding areas.
My mom Shirley, left for work on the morning of November 8th and never had the opportunity to go back to get any personal or family belongings.
Luckily, my dad and brother were not living in the residence at the time, but they have lost their home too. Insurance is slow to kick in when this volume of people have been impacted.
My mom has had to sleep nights in her car, staying in the caring homes of strangers, family, and friends of friends. If you can donate any amount it will mean so much.
We are resilient and with your help my family can begin to rebuild their lives once more.
Thank you for your time and for caring! So so many folks have lost everything. It is beyond devastating for a whole beautiful mountain town and community to burn along with so many homes.
