Lost everything in a house fire; every $ helps.

On July 19th, at 130am, I received a phone call that you never want to receive. My mom was crying on the other end of the line that their garage and house were on fire, and that all of my wedding decorations were inside. I got in my car and raced as fast as I could to get to their house. I knew it was bad because I could see it burning from a few miles away. When I arrived, it was devastating to see my childhood home in flames. The garage was completely engulfed in flames. Their house was up in flames, and the neighbor’s house as well. My parents had built a life in their home for the last 40 years. In a moment, it was completely gone. My parents had mere seconds to get safely out of their home. They made it out with their pets and just their dress clothes for my wedding. I keep going back to my wedding because I feel it’s important to know that my parents are undoubtedly the most selfless people that I know. In the wake of tragedy, their every thought was my wedding and their kids’ happiness. They have always been and always will be the most selfless, caring, and loving people that I know. They have spent their lives bending over backwards for their children and the people they love despite various hardships life has thrown their direction. My dad has been out of work since 2009 after an accident on the job that rendered him with a traumatic brain injury. My mom has supported four kids and my dad selflessly and  now, they’ve lost everything; their vehicles, clothes, photographs, possessions from their parents who have passed on...their house is a total loss. My goal is to help get them back on their feet by getting a few critical necessities in the days and weeks to come before insurance kicks in. At this time, we are accepting any monetary donations/gift cards until insurance kicks in. The money will go towards necessities and rebuilding a new life for my parents. We would like to do whatever we can to help my parents. Any help for them would be deeply, seriously appreciated. They are the most deserving people that I know.❤️
