My parent's place to live burned in CZU Wildfire

Hi everyone, I'm Lorianne Vierra. I'm starting this fundraiser for my mom Linda Vierra and her partner Chris Henderson.
They have been living in Boulder Creek, Ca. for many years until they were evacuated from their small studio Tuesday night after a random lightning storm started wildfires in the Santa Cruz mountains.
We found out yesterday, 8/22/2020 that their place to live was confirmed to be completely lost in the fire.
All they brought with them were pictures, important documents, some clothes and themselves.
They are both disabled, and have been on a fixed income. They were barely able to cover the cost of their rent and food and basic necessities while they had their place.
Right now, they are staying at a hotel and are actively looking for a new place to rent. Expenses are racking up quickly at the hotel, and they will also need help with a deposit and cost of replacing every essential item you need to live (bed, furniture, household basics, etc) when they find a new place.
Anything will help. Any donations will go towards their stay at the Quality Inn in Capitola, food, necessities, and to rent a new studio.
We are all still in shock that this is even happening, thank you to everyone who already reached out and asked how to help. I will post any updates as they arise. We love you!
