Hello friends. My name is Brian although most of you probably know me as Madd. It’s with great awkwardness and embarrassment that my wife and I are asking for your help. As many of you know, I was diagnosed with several autoimmune diseases at the age of 24. I have battled these debilitating autoimmune diseases for 26 years now, without a whole lot of success but taken in stride, and have been an advocate for many others with similar ailments through this time. Unfortunately, my diseases have become quite progressive and the treatments not just more extreme but beyond expensive. My medical costs are simply way more than we have, and we have nowhere to turn. Which is why I am asking you all for your help.
Those who know not only myself but my wife, know that we’ve always given of ourselves freely to our community and in any way we can. Being in our current situation is verd hard on so many levels, one of the biggest is having to be here, asking for help.
What makes matters even more difficult is the fact that we can not afford the trip to go watch our daughter graduate from college in Rhode Island May 4th. Your donations will not only help us continue with my critically important medications and compounding medical bills, but will also hopefully allow us both to go spend a few days with our daughter as she graduates college, and let us celebrate her achievements together, as a family, as we are beyond proud of all she’s achieved, especially through all the hardships my family has experienced. I promised my daughter long ago that no matter what my condition, I’d be there to watch her walk at graduation and see her accept her degree. I don’t break promises or my word. I’m praying that is the case with this promise as well.
We thank you all in advance for your compassion and consideration. We are eternally grateful for every dollar donated.
With love,
The Madds
