A Once in a Lifetime Wedding

Peace, my name is Naa Akua. I am a poet, writer, and emcee from New York. I am now based in Seattle, Washington for one thing and that one thing is for love. After committing to a long distance relationship for a whiIe I made the leap on September 24th 2016 and moved to show how much I wanted this to work.
Now this year September 9th 2017 I will officially marry the woman I love. 

Although I am excited and nervous about taking one  of the biggest steps in my life my financial situation has been discouraging .  As an artist work comes and then it goes. So I have fallen in a space where I am still looking for consistent paying work (in my field of sociology or my art). However, this love, this ceremony, this gathering of family and friends, this moment should and must go on! I know it will happen with your help!

Our goal is to $6,000 this will help with all our additional wedding cost. We've been fortunate so far with an amazing venue that will hold the wedding and the reception, which to us was a miracle we just need a few more miracles to happen by August 26th.
