My terminally ill niece Sadie she’s only 35 with a 2yr baby

I am doing this fundraiser for my beautiful niece who is 35 and has terminal cancer. This is Sadie’s story so far….
A NEW BEGINNING
Sadie’s journey began with a moment of joy- the day her little baby boy arrived.
Her heart was full as she welcomed her newborn into the world, a beacon of hope and love. However, the joy was soon overshadowed by the most devastating news.

THE DIAGNOSIS
At just 34 years old, Sadie was diagnosed with Cancer which was discovered during the early emergency C Section to deliver her baby quickly and safely. The diagnosis came as a huge shock to herself and our entire family, turning what should have been a blissful time into a nightmare of uncertainty and fear. Determined to fight for her life, she began treatment, holding on to hope and a chance of a full recovery. She underwent a massive op in a specialist cancer centre miles from her new born baby, unable to walk for 4 days and having to remain in a certain position for the op to work its magic alongside weeks of strong chemo and radiotherapy.

A ROLLERCOASTER OF EMOTIONS
after enduring all the gruelling treatments, Sadie received the best news that she was all clear. Relief and happiness filled our hearts with joy as it seemed that the worst was finally behind her.
However , this relief was short lived once again, as just three weeks later, doctors discovered the cancer had spread to 3 new places. It was a relentless cancer, that after more ops, more chemo, clinical trials still just wouldn’t go away. Sadie was given a prognosis of 1 year, maybe 2.
Her oncologist fought hard to get funding for immunotherapy, as she was a young mum, in desperate hope to buy her more precious time.
Sadie endured 3 courses of immunotherapy and fought back when at times we didn’t think she would make it through. Her fight and strength are a credit to how much she has fought for more time with her baby. unfortunately, it has come at the price of battering her kidneys and she only has one working and that’s not at its optimum. For this reason, treatment has been stopped as it will do more harm than good.

In light if all this, we are organising this fundraiser to support Sadie during this difficult time as the last thing she should be worrying about right now is money. The funds will go to help with bills and added expenses she shouldn’t have to worry about. This will enable her to focus on creating lasting memories for her baby boy who has turned 2 this week.

sadie dreams of taking her boy to a warm and sunny destinations where they can focus on being a family, far away from the harsh realities they face each day. A place where the gentle waves can carry their worries away and the laughter of her son can echo in the salty breeze. This trip would be an opportunity for Sadie to create precious memories with her son, to cherish the simple joys of life and to hold onto the warmth of their bond.
Despite the challenges and constant pain, Sadie’s resilience and determination to provide living experiences for her child remain unwavering. Unfortunately, insurance alone for Sadie to travel is approximately £2500 before anything else…..
