Hello my name is Stephanie Parris I have had a few years of "bad luck" my husband used me for Canadian status left soon after he got here left me in financial problems. Still in court . Then I thought I met the man of my dreams. He lost his job soon after and I spent 3 years trying to help him back on his feet, along with housing his grown son, to find out he was using me and my resources to entertain other women. He was a narcissist my experience with him lead me to many dramas and trauma, that I am now seeing a therapist for. In mid-September this year I got the courage to kick him out only to be faced with false criminal charges of wich I have court as well the end of the month leaving me in financial restraint. This morning November 17 my whole building was engulfed by fire due to a neighbor's negligence and a fire department far from prepared for. We whitnessed many mistakes. 1st attempt they claimed it was under control and they left but it wasn't we called again they came back and again said its out we could go home,but once again it wasn't they came back a 3rd time and this time refused to release any water stated they needed the fire cheif to map how to put it out. The cheif showed up much later. Then they didn't have long enough hoses or enough water pressure as we watched the entire building end up engulfed. I had to cut my home insurance due to a lack of funds because I had to take a mental leave from work due to my home experience with my ex and a stressful job at the local hospital. The red cross stepped in but all they can provide was 3 days lodging and food after that we r on our own. The only thing I made it out with was my pajamas boots a coat my phone and a bank card that has no funds due to bills rent legal issues and past debts I received trying to get my husband to Canada. I have some help but very limited not enough to provide housing or the amount of clothes needed for winter. I'm starting from 0. And with my low wage at the hospital I am now not able to care for myself and am hoping I can get some help to start life again. I am more than greatful for any help I can get as I now have nothing. No home no memories. The loss of my past mothers items. Most of my family is not close and not all in the position to help. This is extremely hard for me because I have been on my own since 17 years old and have never asked for help and the help I did receive came in the form of flattery nothing tangible. I have been very proud to have raised myself and provided for myself as well as others. But now I am weak tied lost and don't know where to turn. Things seem hopeless. But I have life and my faith to hang on to. I want to say the gratitude I feel for the assistance is unmeasurable. I am 49 years old and to start from less than nothing is too much to bare. Please if anyone could find it in their heart to donate I couldn't asked for more. Like having angels to guide me to a new life. Thank you everyone thank u.
