About Panashe
My name is Thandiwe Dube, and I’m raising funds for my 23-year-old nephew, Panashe, who is currently battling for his life in Zimbabwe.
Panashe is a Civil Engineering graduate who studied in China and returned home in 2024 full of hope and ambition. He dreamed of helping rebuild Zimbabwe’s infrastructure and providing a better life for his family.
But in early 2025, his health took a serious and unexpected turn.
⸻
How It Started
Shortly after starting work, Panashe began experiencing severe swelling in his legs, which became painful and disabling. After several hospital visits, he was diagnosed with elephantiasis — a chronic condition caused by damage to the lymphatic system, often linked to parasitic infection or poor drainage.
Despite starting treatment, his condition worsened.
Later in 2025, doctors discovered something even more alarming:
He had developed Kaposi Sarcoma — a rare and aggressive form of cancer that attacks the blood vessels and immune system. The disease is now spreading, making it difficult for Panashe to walk or carry out basic daily tasks.
⸻
He Urgently Needs:
• Chemotherapy
• Radiation therapy
• Immunotherapy (if available)
• Ongoing treatment for elephantiasis
• Specialist medical reviews, scans, and hospital care
His mother, Memory Ntini, has been by his side through everything — but the medical bills are now beyond what our family can handle alone.
⸻
Our Goal
This will help cover:
• Treatment at cancer and lymphatic clinics in Zimbabwe or neighboring countries
• Specialist consultations
• Medications
• Transport to and from hospitals
• Emergency and follow-up care
⸻
How You Can Help
Any amount, big or small, will make a difference. If you can’t donate, please share this page, and help us reach others who may be able to assist.
Let’s give Panashe a fighting chance at life — he is young, bright, and full of potential. He just needs the opportunity to get proper treatment before it’s too late.
