My Name Is Jasmine—and I Need Your Help to Heal
I’ve always been a nurse. A caregiver. Someone who shows up in the most vulnerable moments of others’ lives to offer care, comfort, and compassion.
But today, I find myself on the other side—no longer able to work or care for myself after surviving a brutal act of domestic violence that left me permanently disabled.
What Happened
As a result of the violence I endured, I suffered four strokes and a traumatic brain injury (TBI). These injuries have left me with:
Right-sided weakness
Wrist drop and frozen arm
Foot drop
Loss of independence
Inability to work or perform daily tasks
I now live alone in a hotel room, without access to the care I once provided so freely to others.
There Is Hope—But I Can’t Do It Alone
After months of research and prayer, I found a breakthrough treatment that could offer me a second chance: Stem Cell Therapy at the Cell Performance Institute (CPI) in Tijuana, Mexico. This therapy has shown promising results for people with similar injuries, and I believe it could help restore some of my mobility and improve my quality of life.
The Challenge: The Cost of Care
The total cost of the procedure, including treatment and related travel expenses, is estimated between $45,000–$50,000—an amount I simply cannot afford as a disabled, unemployed survivor.
How You Can Help
Please donate whatever you can—no amount is too small
Share my story with your network, church, community group, or employer
Help me get one step closer to reclaiming my independence and health
What Your Gift Means
Your donation is not just helping me access treatment. It’s giving me a chance to live. To heal. To return to the world with dignity, movement, and a future that isn’t defined by pain.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping a nurse heal.
With deep gratitude,
Survivor. Nurse. Fighter.
