My name is Abdulrahman Mohammad Enaya.

I am 23 years old, born in 2003.

I am a young man from Gaza who had simple dreams, just like any other person my age. I was studying at university, trying to build my future and create a better life for myself and my family. Alongside my studies, I worked hard to support myself and continue my education despite the difficult circumstances we were already living through

Football was not just a hobby to me — it was my passion and my dream. I was a team captain, spending my days training, playing matches, and believing that one day I could achieve something through the sport I loved.

I had goals. I wanted to graduate, find stability, get married, and live a normal life with dignity and peace.

But the war changed everything.

The occupation destroyed my home, and suddenly my family and I lost the place where we felt safe. My workplace was destroyed too, leaving me without any source of income. Universities stopped, education became impossible, and the football fields where we once trained and played were bombed and turned into rubble.

Today, there are barely any places left for young athletes to continue their dreams. Many football players have been killed, many dreams buried under destruction, and an entire generation has lost the chance to live normally.

Instead of focusing on my studies and my future, I now struggle to survive each day. Instead of running on the football field chasing my dream, I search for safety, shelter, food, and hope.

I am sharing my story because I still believe life can begin again. I still dream of continuing my education, rebuilding my future, and reclaiming the life that war took away from me.
