My mum recently suffered a devastating accident while in the Philippines, fracturing a disc in her spine which has sadly left her paralysed from the neck down.

She’s now facing a long and difficult recovery, and will be stuck there for at least four months as she undergoes treatment. When she’s eventually well enough to travel, she will need a specialist medical transport flight to get back home to the UK — something that comes at a huge cost that is completely out of reach for me and my brothers.

We’re just a working-class family doing everything we can to cover her medical bills and ongoing expenses, but we urgently need help to raise the funds to bring her home safely. Any support, no matter how small, would mean the world to us.
