Hi - my name is Ruby, I'm 17, and I'm trying to raise money for my mum's stage 4 inflammatory breast cancer treatment!

Jo's Story:

Back in October 2025, my mum was diagnosed with stage 4 triple negative breast cancer which had also spread to other areas of her body. She was told in the December that if she didn't have emergency treatment, she had 2 months left to live.

After having chemo in the UK and it failing to help- the NHS gave her the devastating news that they had no cure for her.

As it has progressed my mum has become less mobile and has lost the use of her right arm due to lymphedema; now using a wheelchair. Our lives have been completely put on hold, including me dropping out of college to help with care as my mum continues fighting.

However, we have found treatment in Germany that seems to be giving us hope! My parents will be going on their fourth Germany trip next month, and as these trips have to be so frequent, the costs add up so quickly.

So I'm aiming to raise funds to cover the next 3 months which estimates to about £5,000 per treatment, totaling to £15,000.

This has been an extremely difficult past year for all of us and I'm hoping that I can raise these funds for potentially life-saving treatment that will allow her to be mum again.
