My MPC has died

Hello my name is Lefty and I am a musician from London.

Music is my life and I have great belief in helping myself and others with my talent!

Anyone knows me knows that you Will never see me without my MPC in my hand and ready to go!

I have also encouraged and influenced many artists around me to get their own MPC and how to master it. I find this very fulfilling and it is something I take pride in.

I have dedicated the last few years to mastering the MPC. I have a series called "Beats In The Wild" where I make beats in different public places. I have also been working on so much music for myself and others which now unfortunately is lost.

My MPC unfortunately died during a recording session. It had started showing signs of problems but I didn't think it would get to this point. I have lost many projects and files that were saved onto the MPC that now I cannot access.

As well as this, i use my MPC for all my live shows and as my main source of income. I have been making custom beats for artists and even teaching people how to use the MPC.

Without an MPC I am lost and unable to fulfill my purpose, as well as finish current projects that waiting clients have actually paid me for.

I have asked friends for help/advice, as well as scoured through reddit looking for any help, but the general consensus is that because my warranty has expired, there is nothing I can do but buy a new one.

Very sad.

I am asking for help to get me a new MPC! I am in a difficult period of my life and simply do not have the kind of money i need to replace the equipment.

Crowd funding has never been something I thought I would do, but my close friends have suggested it and encouraged me that the community I have built around me will be happy to support me in a difficult time.

I have my eyes on the new MPC Keys 37. It's £699 online and includes a 37-key keyboard on it. But, due to the fact it doesn't have a speaker or chargeable feature, I will have to get a portable speaker and a power source to go with it, along with a carry case, various wires/adaptors, desk protector and a portable hard drive.
