My Mother’s Home Destroyed by Winter Storm

Hello, my name is Gordon Terry and this past Tuesday (01/16/2024) my plumbing burst with hundreds of gallons of water through the home for over 4 hours.

My mother’s first and only home is in ruins, and she is devestated.

We are in a transitional period preparing to watch over her and prepare a recovery station while my mother gets ready for a major knee surgery, as you can imagine, this was the worst thing to happen right now.

Because of this, my partner and I are currently displaced from a home and trying to pick up the pieces.

Even thought the house is reported totaled by insurance, they stated already that they are not covering full cost of damages.

Please.

Assistance in any way is greatly appreciated and valued. Thank you to all patiently waiting on content and news, as this past week I’ve disappeared rightfully so, busy with the works of this situation.

We are estimated to be in this situation until September via insurance reports.

Tv stand filled to the brim with dvds

A Washer/Dryer

Full set of kitchen Cabinets

Every shoe we own except for the ones on our feet

Two clothing dressers

Two cabinets for art supplies

Full DJ setup minus the laptop

Dozens of T shirts for my Stoner Stache clothing launch

and way more.

The money will be used to help pay for housing until September. The cheapest apartments in the northwest Indiana area are averaging around $1000 a month

Due to the fact that the house was still in my mother‘s name, and not mine, we are in eligible from receiving hotel housing, and are essentially homeless as we prepped to live in this residence while caring for my mother for the year of 2024.
