Hello Facebook friends and family. As some of you already know, on Saturday May 27,2017 God called my mother Patricia Alexander (Ms. Pat) home, after a very lengthy battle with multiple Illnesses. I would like to first thank everyone for all the prayers, condolences, texts, phone calls and over all outpouring of love my family and I have received over the last few days. I am so grateful for friends such as yourselves.
I am even more grateful that I could be with my mother when she made her transition. I thank GOD for granting me this. As an only child, I am now left with the task of making her final arrangements. Life has not always been picture perfect, and still not as perfect as I would like. I’ve been on a path which has led me to where I am now. I take nothing away from my journey but pure strength and praises to God for he has saved me on many occasions. I am humbly writing this and asking because I need help to complete my mother’s final wishes. Due to my own financial circumstances, I have not able to maintain an insurance policy for her. This leaves me with the inability to pay for her final arrangements.
It was my mother’s desire to be buried, as of right now. It seems as if I may have to go with the plan “B” option of cremation, and a very nice memorial due to the high cost of plots and burial. I am attempting to raise $5000 to help cover the cost of fulfilling my promise to her to have a tasteful homegoing celebration to honor her. Be it burial or cremation any amount given would be a blessing and used towards this goal. I do appreciate everyone’s willingness to help. I will let everyone know the progress of this effort, and the final arrangements for my mother. Thank you all so much again for your blessing, bringing such a private matter to this public forum is a very humbling experience.
