Help for our mom❤️ Ayuda x mi mamá❤️

My mother has always been an independent, hard-working, active woman. After getting her blood drawn for testing, as she does each year, she was given some concerning news. The doctor told he she would have to make an appointment with the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in OKC. The day of her appointment she went in just to do some testing. After testing, they told her she would have to go through open heart surgery for a broken valve. Once the surgery was over and some months went by, in mid to late February of this year she was taken to the ER in Liberal for bad pains in her back. She was under doctor and nurses care, in the ICU in Liberal, for two days. Monday she was discharged. We weren’t sure what she had but they said there is an infection in her abdominal area. The week went by and my moms condition worsened. Eventually we decided to bring her to BSA Hospital in Amarillo, on February 24, in seek of more advanced medical attention. As of today February 27, 2022 we are still in the ICU and still have many of unanswered questions. The doctors cannot at this moment pinpoint exactly what is going on. At the moment they believe it may be a colitis. Originally we didn’t plan on a Go-Fund-Me but unfortunately after many visits to the ER and days spent in the ICU, we believe we need to get the most help as possible. Mi madre siempre ha sido una mujer independiente, trabajadora, activa. Después de que le sacaran sangre para la prueba, como lo hace cada año, recibió algunas noticias preocupantes. A día de hoy 27 de febrero de 2022 seguimos en la UCI y todavía tenemos muchas preguntas sin respuesta. Los médicos no pueden en este momento precisar exactamente lo que está pasando. De momento creen que puede ser una colitis. Originalmente no planeábamos un Go-Fund-Me pero, lamentablemente, después de muchas visitas a la sala de emergencias y días en la UCI, creemos que necesitamos obtener la mayor ayuda posible.
