Hello, I am Eldrette.

Recently, my mom, Maricel, got diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. It was unexpected. Then again, health issues aren't really things you can often expect, right?

My mom is a loving and hard-working single mother. She is kind, really sweet, and supportive. She is such a brave and strong woman that I had initially found it hard to believe she had such an illness. I guess life can really be unpredictable, no?

It is undeniably going to be a tough journey for her, for us. All I hope is that we don't give up and fight, and ultimately make it through.

I am not really one to ask for help, even more so if it had something to do with money. But, reality can be so harsh and unexpected, and I am just a working college student who is also just a child that wants to help their mother receive treatment soon.
